A bench for the postman

A bench for the postman... not only for the postman...

Nice bench. Perhaps some people are sitting here waiting for a very special "snail-mail" ?

A welcome respite, I'm sure, for some weary postman.

The planter adds colour to your photo; the room needs a bit of colour to brighten up the corner; perhaps some cushions to match the planter? I like the floor tile work.

That looks so inviting.

Not sure this is a bench, but I like it anyway...

I could sit there and sort out the junk mail and drop it in the trash before I head home.

I think maybe Gunn is right Karl.. the bench is for persons eagerly awaiting important news.. but i bet they'd move over for an exhausted postman :)

Hi Karl! Thanks for the nice welcome! Delivering the mail can be a difficult job at times. It is good to have a bench where the postman can sit and rest. I'd imagine some folks take a seat to look through mail they receive, too. Most of my mail I end up throwing away. :)

Nice place to have a little rest before going back to work!

A small community corner where people pick up their mail. It is a place that brings people together for a common purpose. Your photo captures much in this small corner.

What a good shape the mail boxes have. Big envelopes can be easily put in and lie flat. Here they are small and square and many pieces of mail have to be curled up in order to fit.

I would not be surprised if the postman came twice, to such an inviting place! ;-)
